We are seeking a Part-Time Dental Hygienist who is passionate about patient care, education, and creating a welcoming environment. Responsibilities
- Perform periodontal procedures in accordance with state dental board requirements and patient care best practices.
- Educate patients on oral health, periodontal disease prevention, treatment strategies, and the connection between oral health and overall systemic health.
- Chart periodontal conditions and collaborate with the Dentist to develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Partner with the team on scheduling, patient experience, and maintaining the condition of the practice and equipment.
- Deliver care in a way that promotes patient comfort, trust, and long-term retention.
Qualifications
- Dental hygiene license in good standing and compliant with State Dental Board requirements.
- Two or more years of experience as a licensed Dental Hygienist preferred, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dental software; Dentrix experience preferred.
