We are seeking an experienced nursing leader to serve as a Nurse Manager for a designated healthcare area. This full-time leadership role oversees patient care operations with 24-hour responsibility, leading a team of care providers to achieve positive patient outcomes, maximize patient involvement, improve service levels, reduce hospital stays, and decrease costs while fostering a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assume 24-hour responsibility for overall planning, organization, direction, and evaluation of patient care operations for designated areas.
  • Manage, guide, coach, and evaluate the work performance of patient care staff.
  • Make operational decisions independently or in collaboration with the division director and physician leads.
  • Collaborate with other departments directly or indirectly related to patient care operations to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Provide occasional direct patient care and handle confidential employee and organizational information.
  • Operationalize the health system's mission, values, and goals to support the nursing professional practice model.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; candidates must be enrolled within 12 months and complete the degree within 36 months of hire.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
  • Current Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) License.
  • Previous management or leadership experience alongside related clinical work experience.
  • BLS/ACLS certifications required within 90 days of hire.
  • Specialty certifications to be completed within 36 months of hire.
  • De-escalation training to be completed within 6 months.
Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: USD 103,521 to 129,396 per year
