Location: Hybrid - Bethesda, MD

We are building a pipeline of experienced Facility Security Officers (FSO) with active TS, TS/SCI, and Poly to support future government contracting programs. This opportunity is designed to connect with security professionals who have experience maintaining compliance within cleared environments and supporting National Industrial Security Program requirements. Qualified candidates will be considered for upcoming roles supporting clients across the Washington DC Metro Area and Northern Virginia. These positions are typically hybrid with occasional on-site support depending on program requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Facility Security Officer and Insider Threat Program Senior Official for assigned customers
  • Administer and maintain compliance with National Industrial Security Program requirements
  • Manage DD254 documentation and personnel security clearance processing
  • Maintain and operate DISS, NBIS, and NISS accounts
  • Support inspections, audits, and security reviews
  • Identify, assess, and resolve security related matters in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple organizations and levels
  • Ensure adherence to federal regulations, executive orders, intelligence directives, and NISPOM requirements
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
  • Provide insider threat awareness guidance and program support

Qualifications
  • Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance required and must be maintained
  • Minimum three years of Facility Security Officer experience working with DCSA
  • Experience managing DD254s and personnel security clearance processing
  • Working knowledge of DISS, NBIS, and NISS systems
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • FSO Curriculum for Possessing Facilities certificate of completion
  • Knowledge of federal laws, executive orders, intelligence community directives, and 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM Rule
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within team environments
  • Professional reliability and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • NCMS ISP certification
  • Completion of CDSE STEPP courses including FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities, Establishing an Insider Threat Program, Insider Threat Awareness, Personally Identifiable Information training, Cyber Awareness training, and NISS External User training
Compensation: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
