Location: Santa Rosa, CA
We are seeking a skilled Obstetrics Nurse (RN) to join a respected hospital in Santa Rosa, CA. This full-time position offers 12-hour evening shifts in a high-quality obstetrics unit, recognized for excellence in patient care, with a $3,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized obstetrics care, including labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn support
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, administer medications, and assist during deliveries
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the healthcare team to ensure safe patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on labor processes, newborn care, and postpartum recovery
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital safety and quality standards
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (2+ years preferred)
